Since 2015, i have developed my Operational experience considerably with multiple adhoc deployments to the North Sea for Omega UK and Omega AS to run the Omega V-Zero™ Rerievable Bridge Plug, Hydrostatic Setting Tool, Cement Dump Bailer (Cement and Acid), Completion Valves (Installation and Manipulation) and Electronic Equalising Valves.Daily onshore activities are predominantly assisting the Operations manager , overseeing and contributing in the assembly, shipping and deployment of the Omega product range , ensuring the smooth running of global operations as per client specification and Omega Management System in accordance with the business requirements.

This role within Omega supported the Business Development department on an engineering level. Activities included meeting with clients and attending pre job meetings, feasibility studies and ultimately Engineering Project Plans, Operational Support (eg. producing job specific documentation) holding tool specific training courses locally and internationally. Attending industry specific conferences, I have often been a focal point on the Company stand. In 2015, I presented a white paper on the benefits of adopting the Omega EQ Valves and ReAct™ pressure recognition technology at the ICoTA Well Intervention Seminar in Stavanger.

Daily duties included conceptual design of new products, product sustaining and special order projects, producing manufacturing drawings and calculation packages, producing test procedures and plans and leading the test programs of all prototype tools. In this period, I was heavily involved in the development of the Omega RBP and ancillary products, specialising in Electronic Equalising Valves and Omegas Completion Tooling.
