      With the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo or in short UNMIK’s introduction of de facto customs administration after the war conflict of 1999, as a customs officer I carried out checks on all incoming trucks and automobiles for arms, hazardous materials and undeclared goods making sure goods flowing in Kosovo were subject to tariff barriers in all border controls.On 12 December 2008 Customs Service UNMIK Customs became Kosovo Customs.
