      HIVE STUDIOThe HIVE lab (Home of Innovation and Video Ecology) - New Media: The newest SAY Sí program started as a game design program with coding as its center, It transitioned to include many disciplines that use a computer as an integral tool. Our first one year game design project was presented at Pax South, San Japan, Video Games Live, and Comic Con. Past projects include: Game Jams, projection mapping with a live performance., Working with sound transducers to make objects amplify sound, and CNC assembly. Topics taught include: character design, modeling & animation, digital art, Interactive media art, Comic books & zines, game theory, and Creative coding.

      Teaching in the Media program meant working with students in the rapidly evolving field of digital filmmaking. We worked to develop students artistic talents and technical proficiency primarily in filmmaking and photography. Training included focus in Directing, Cinematography, Production, Production Design, Sound and Post-Production. Other areas of training included included screenwriting, directing, animation, audio production, digital illustration, installation & performance art. As well as working hands on in the various flexible projects that SAY Sí takes such as designing 100 foot murals, or social justice documentary films. Projects also varied widely from narrative to music videos, commercials, as well as experimental approaches, and countless art pieces.
