    • CTO & Certified full-stack Magento developer
      • Feb 2019 - Present

Started as remote job and after one year progressed into opening a company in Serbia and becoming company's copilot. Responsible for Factor Blue's branch Serbia and it's business & team development. Besides Magento development, focused on mentoring people, sharing knowledge and experience, finding best/optimal solution(s) per case (task, ticket), tracking and advising people's career progress, while making sure that code quality that exits our office is on the highest level. When needed, I also participate in the recruitment of candidates from the technical perspective. Show less

Software development team focused on: Desktop & Android applications and Web development. Proudest author of the projects inParent (parental control) and inLock (computer locking software) that were presented & praised on Serbian national TV (IT show Interfejs). There were multiple partners over the time in the team, helping with the ideas and testing, and I'd like personally to thank: - Igor Rakocija - Bojan Piskulic - Milan Trandafilovic Since all of us are employed now on other places, the team was placed on the standby. Started as a junior frontend, progressed to Full-Stack developer. Was responsible for the development & maitenance of Magento (2) webshops. Additional responsibilities: - most of the time I was the first "firefighter" when there was problem on some Production webshop - montly performance reports, although it was always signed by someone else ;-) - mentoring juniors / interns and students - development-related documentation - DevOps Proclaimed "Dev Hero of the year 2017": https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/younifys-magento-2017-list-emile-koolstra/ point 7. Reason I left: expected that all the effort would be appreciated, but ended up only being constantly under heavy workload. So I turned my career somewhere where there is more prosperity. Show less

      • Oct 2012 - Jan 2013

I was responsible to maintain TehnoMS's webshop run smoothly. The webshop was built with custom PHP code including custom ERP system in the background and classic frontend. Other responsibilities were to teach psyhical-store-sellers about the actual hardware and what can be combined. Reason I left: promise that owner will employ me legally never made. Worked development for 200 euros. Constant pressure and working Saturdays. Constant gossip requests from the owner to "tell out" colleagues. Show less

Was responsible for designing (UI) and developing user experience (UX) for smartphones (Android & Bada) and Smart TVs.
