Chris Minas
I had the pleasure of mentoring Neb through the Deakin University Mulesoft landscape. Neb showed great enthusiasm for learning and took on and completed all tasks I allocated to him. He learned about the design patterns used by the integration team such as APIs, subscribers, publishers and batch and developed working applications for each of the patterns. Neb also learned about the different phases in developing an integration application including deploying to the various environments - DEV/SIT/UAT/PROD. For production deployment Neb was shown and understood the various documentations required to deploy an integration application to production such as peer code review, application change request and ServiceNow Change request. He was also shown how we use SVN and the purpose of Jenkins in deploying to the various Runtime Manager environments. Neb worked through each of the allocated tasks as well as working through the online Mulesoft Developers Fundamentals online course, to expand his knowledge of Mulesoft. Neb also attended department stand ups where he participated in informing the team of his learning progress. Apart from his learnings, Neb was also tasked with making updates to an existing Mule batch application adding additional functionality requested by the departments. I am happy to say that his changes have been deployed to production and are successfully been used. Neb showed himself to be a hard-working, enthusiastic, polite and respectful individual that made mentoring him for the last ten weeks very rewarding. I wish you, Neb, the very best for the future and thank you for your time and effort. Kind regards Chris Minas Integration Developer, eSolutions Deakin University Geelong Waterfront Campus Victoria 3217 Australia.
