Founded in 1978 Energi Simulation is a non-profit company based in the province of Alberta, Canada. It also has 13 universities as collaborators spread among Brazil, Canada, Europe and United States (http://energisimulation.com/chairs/).Main roles:- Elaborate numerical scenarios to represent the real ones - Simulate over 300 hydro-mechanical scenarios of fractured reservoir- Analyze critical pressure without fracture reactivation- Optimize reservoir injection and production - Evaluate the possibility of connection between the reservoir and an adjacent aquifer - Analyse the influence of salt rock excavation and fluency in fracture reactivation - Verify the salt rock fluency due to artificial caverns with different geometries at great depths - Modeling two real scenarios of Taquarivassouras (onshore oil reservoir explored by Vale, a Brazilian multinational mining company) http://www.vale.com/- Simulate a Taquarivassouras model with hypothetical fractures set to analyse the influence of fracture location and geometry in its reactivation.   Performance Evaluation of Buried Flexible PEAD Pipe. Project solicited by ENSOLO (Engineering and Consulting of Solos e Foundations Ltda.), a traditional Brazilian company working in geotechnical field since 1972. Main roles:- Develop scenarios to depict the local conditions, which were excavation, pipe installation with 1.5 meters of inter diameter, and landfill construction with 16 meters of height.- Investigate the pipe resistance through laboratorial test- Inspect local soil and the landfill soil parameters needed for numerical analysis- Systematize all construction steps to feed the numerical simulation- Synthetize different numerical scenarios of final construction field- Test different constitutive models to simulate the landfill construction- Simulate all constructions steps on CODE-BRIGHT software- Analyze final configuration of the critical height of landfill - Solve the problem of pipe damage due to vertical load Show less

  Services provided to the Soil and Instrumentation Laboratory (LSI at Federal University of Pernambuco). (Recife, Brazil)- Execution, supervision and interpretation of laboratory soil tests.- Hundreds of laboratory tests were conducted including soil characterization, direct shear, uniaxial and triaxial compression, diametrical compression, odometer, CBR, permeability and compaction tests, also included a field test, the “in situ” density test. Those experimental laboratory tests were performed in order to solve the demand of several geotechnical companies as ENSOLO, Tecomat, Odebrecht, among other Brazilian companies.
