I have worked with Nawang on the Board of the MN Association of Counselors of Color (MnACC) for three years. I admire Nawang’s commitment to the organization’s values of supporting admissions professionals of color as well as increasing college access for students of color here in Minnesota. She consistently assists in whatever capacity is needed having served on multiple committees on the Board, most recently as treasurer. She always brings her talents, organization skills, and wonderful energy to the work and I’m proud to call her a colleague and friend.

Nawang is one of the strongest leaders I've met in this field. Her and I were on a committee together that worked to bring college fairs to underrepresented and underserved students and schools. She was very organized and delegated tasks well. She always brought great ideas that we implemented immediately to help with the programming of these fairs. On top of her strong work ethic, she's an absolute delight to be around and to work with.
