I had the pleasure of working with and managing Nav from initially hiring him, through a great deal of organisational change, to his eventual departure. Nav is proactive; he consistently brought forward suggestions and solutions to deal with problems before they arose, or to improve existing solutions so that they were more robust, more extendable, more scalable and so on. The quality of the solutions he designed and implemented was impeccable, my role as his manager was really limited to outward facing work – establishing the scope of our efforts, when it came to delivery, I was able to put tasks in Nav’s hands and know that he would take them forward, reaching out to myself or other team members as necessary for consultation and guidance as necessary. Through the time I worked with him, Nav picked up at least two wholly new tool sets (Alteryx and Azure Data Factory) and was able to reach a high level of capability with each of them in very short time. The icing on the cake is that Nav is a likable, affable person who always took the time to listen and understand before speaking, and who treated colleagues with respect and consideration. Overall: 11 out of 10, would work with him again any time whether as his manager, peer or subordinate.

Navodit helped put together the Reporting system for one of the most complex public sector projects in Deloitte. He is a motivated, full of energy, fast paced self learner and he portrayed that by leading this effort in learning a new tool Pentaho and helping create ETL and Business Analytic layers. Client and senior leadership in the firm has been really appreciative of his work in this domain and even after his leaving the firm, we still talk about his contributions that helped the firm showcase expertise and procure mutli-million dollars of work. Navodit has great presentation skills while demoing solutions to Client. He went above and beyond to share the knowledge to other projects as well.
