Bio
Navin Ji was my reporting officer while working at NCBS-TIFR. He has always been an approachable mentor for my personal as well as career growth. His insights - be it handling challenges in the workplace or financial discipline or networking, have been an inspiration for me. Always a privilege to be associated with Navin Ji!
I would rather say it was a privilege to work with an exemplified Scientist like Navin who drove the Biofuel project for ICRAF. The four-year Programme for the Development of Alternative Biofuel Crops was launched under his leadership in 2013 wherein biofuel value chain mechanisms and recommendations to strengthen the food security and livelihoods of smallholders were made. He is a power-house of knowledge and has always helped me and others in the team with innovative ideas and information. A genuine leader who always inspires and listens without being condescending. I wish to have (work with) a Supervisor/Mentor/Colleague like him again in the near future.
