  Work Description • Responsible to check and arrange mechanics to repair any breakdown occurred or reported by Productions to reduce their downtime. • Conduct root cause analysis to prevent repeating problem and breakdown especially minor breakdown that will affect productions. • Make daily report for submission to HOD and key in inside system so that we can monitor machine’s downtime per month to focus and improvise higher downtime machine. • Design any parts that need to improvise the design especially mechanical parts that frequent broken or worn out and discuss with in-house fabricator to fabricate it as per design. • Liaise with productions regarding lead time for machines repair so that planner can use another backup machine. • Conduct, briefing and arrange designated mechanics to do Preventive Maintenance monthly for each machine and report back if found any abnormalities at machine. • Make Corrective, Preventive Action Reports (CPAR) for machines that cannot be repaired immediately, KIV or need further observing due to Production’s request to complete their order.
