  Key Responsibilities • Responsible for design, development and execution of new products in assigned categories for core and private label lines to include:  Monitoring, tracking and organizing of all approved proposed new product samples and collect costs.  Complete P&L for all core items and communicate cost for private label product.  Communicating with factories the product specifications of proposed new product.  Approve all Pre-production samples.  Accurately complete item set up requirements and all related documents; communicate to procurement, quality department, marketing and sales. • Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities • Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning. • Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute. • Analyzing risk in market for the product with Actuarial team. • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned from the Director of Product This position will report to the Director of Product Development. • Work to ensure product specifications are accurate and up-to-date then communicate to procurement, quality department, marketing and sales of changes. • Responsible for the management of assigned categories meeting/exceeding margin and sales plans. • Coordinate with Marketing Communications strategic direction for product catalogs, new products, sell sheets, and launch programs on assigned categories. Other Responsibility: • Product Filling to IRDA • IRDA Compliance Work • Implementation of Circular of New Health Guidelines in Various Products like PA, GPA • Updation of Existing Products and Documents • Preparation of various Reports and other Documents in inter department • Other support work related to Underwriting Department Show less
