Key Projects: 1- Mechanical design and manufacturing of curvilinearly stiffened panels used in aircraft wings and the fuselage. Detail parametric design, optimization, and modelling of the structure for buckling load and vibration analysis 2- Design of bonded stiffened panels, with the main emphasis on weight reduction and vibration suppression. Viscoelastic polymer was used as an adhesive. Performed creep tests on the viscoelastic materials, and modelled the structure in ABAQUS to get the buckling and vibration response under different boundary conditions 3- Structural design of integrally stiffened plates with plate strip stiffeners for high-speed aircraft wings. The structure was modelled using different materials such as aluminum, and orthogonal composite materials, and then validated for different boundary conditions through testing using dynamic oscillator and sensors placed at different locations 4- Complex modes and damped vibration of sandwich beams 5- Finite element analysis of a plate with non-local heat conduction 6- Finite element analysis of a transient non-linear heat conduction problem in a 2D domain 7- Free vibration analysis of a functionally graded (FGM) beam 8- Wave propagation in 1D bar using finite elements analysis 9- Technical review of new emerging techniques in ground vibration testing (GVT) of large aircrafts 10- Technical review of active/passive noise and vibration damping treatments in plate and shell structures Show less

As a Mechanical Engineer, I was involved in a major ongoing project “Fixing Superheater Tube Failure in Auxiliary Boiler”.The nature of my role involved maintaining equipment used in the company’s regular operations, including feed pumps (gear pumps, Sulphur feed pumps, boiler feed water pumps, acid circulating pumps, cooling tower pumps), main air blower, plant heat exchangers, vessels, drawings, layouts and flow diagrams, indenting and inventory procedures.
