  In effort to write and enact a new Heritage Protection Bylaw, the government of the City of Bandung had to renew and reconfirm the list of protected buildings, sites, and districts in the entire city. Exhaustive survey and academic verification by the Bandung's Expert Council on Heritage ensued, resulting in 1700 buildings added to the list and now protected under City Bylaw no. 7/2018. The city-wide heritage asset survey is still to date the most complete and thorough heritage survey of any city in Indonesia. Show less
