Raymond Stewart
Nathan is a great Lead to work with. He is clear and unambiguous in his needs, while being very open and approachable. He is very organized and good at tracking the host of priorities that demand a Lead TAs attention every day. He delegates well and is great at keeping everyone on the team engaged and on the same page.
Katie Houston
Nate was my Environment Lead on both Fight Night and Marvel projects. His knowledge, hard work, and dedication to the team set a great example for us all. He is a great collaborator and patient teacher. Always a favorite of both the programmers and the artists, he really 'gets' both sides and is committed to making everyone's work better and more efficient. A great guy to have on your side!

Sr. Technical Artist
-
Aug 2012 - Apr 2017
As a Technical Artist the role encompasses two main aspects, first being a support structure for our studio in handling technical problems and trouble shooting. Thought "Art" is in the description it is never limited to just Artists. Any team member can be supported in getting tools and the game up and running. The second aspect is workflow and tool improvement. Not just creating new tools or even revising old tools, although that does happen. The job is to look at the need and provide solutions to that need, looking for that simple solution. One important aspect is to do the process directly so it's a tactile understanding on the need. The job is one which challenges my flexibility and creative thinking daily. In this role a strong grasp of Python, Perforce, Various Dcc's ( Max, Maya, Photoshop, etc. ) is necessary. As a senior TA I am also encouraged to educate those around me. Whether to a new TA or senior TA communication is key to keeping our efficiency high.
