  My focus is on civil disputes and employment. I love the cut and thrust of litigation; I see my role as getting the best possible outcome for my clients. Wherever possible I prefer not to have to resort to the Courts, but it is sometimes necessary. I have appeared in numerous District Court and High Court matters, and been involved in matters before the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. I have extensive experience in mediation and representing companies and individuals in employment disputes. Career highlights include my involvement in the enforcement of an international arbitration award and subsequent re-taking of a rogue franchise system, the winding up of a chain of furniture stores and related entities, and presenting to a delegation of senior Malaysian lawyers and Judges on the subject of the New Zealand legal system.
