I've met Nathan at GMIT, where he was one of the most knowledgeable students while we studied together MSc Digital Media & Marketing. He spotted my potential and passion for Digital Marketing immediately and offered to mentor me. This was the best thing that happened to my career to this point. Nathan took me as a trainee in his own agency Brandigital Ireland and over the course of five months completely reshaped me. Then I moved to EverBold agency, where he was the Head of SEO and I started working for high profile clients under his supervision. He is a native teacher with a very hands-on approach, and he helped me build up my confidence and being able to solve problems by myself, be it SEO, PPC or social media related. To claim that Nathan is an SEO wizard would be the understatement of the year. He will literally take a high calibre client that doesn’t rank well, run a quick SEO & UX audit and a competitor analysis, devise a strategy for short and long term and start implementing it with immediate results on day two. Nathan has an incredible flair for keywords that the competition is not capitalising enough and will turn them into traffic magnets. My first SEO optimised blog, written under his guidance, ranked on the first SERP the same week and that was in the highly competitive industry of insurance. For another client, Nathan fixed a plethora of historical keyword cannibalisation issues by almost rewriting and reorganising their entire website. Although he is an SEO ninja, Nathan likes to keep up with all the aspects of Digital Marketing, so he is heavily investing resources and time into constantly studying and researching Paid Ads, Email Marketing, Social Media etc. This is how he manages to always stay on top of things and be able to help critical clients and also mentor students and interns. And if some of you reading this might find my recommendation a bit too personal, you are right. It is. Because Nathan is the type of colleague you will befriend quickly, and his leadership role doesn’t stop him from always helping everyone. Any company in Ireland would thrive having Nathan on board.
