Daniel Perez, MSW, MPA

Mr. Brown provided analytical and administrative support to the Inland Empire HIV Planning Council, a legislatively mandated planning body that annually allocates over $7 million to medical and support services for over 4,000 residents in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Mr. Brown demonstrated strong analytical skills in developing high quality work product that informed and guided the decisions made by the Council. In over 20 years of public service administration, I have only seen a handful of employees like Mr. Brown. His deliberate, calm, and precise manner lended itself extremely well in negotiating the often volatile political landscape that was the Council. He frequently worked outside of his scope effectively completing work product with little guidance and support. It is without reservation that I would recommend Mr. Brown to anyone wishing to challenge him with a position that can utilize his diverse skillset.

I have supervised Nathan as a research assistant and also coached him in mock trial, moot court, and mediation. He was also in a couple of my classes. I think very highly of Nathan. He is organized, quietly competent, and completely reliable. He writes really well, and you never have to ask him to do anything twice. He is exceptionally bright and thoughtful, and an excellent communicator. I recommend him without reservation.
