  I am working with a local who makes brass tags and signs to make an automated machine that will polish the surfaces in an isolated dust-sealed environment so as not to fill the whole shop with dust. It features a 2-axis stepper drive system that moves the tag around underneath a series of grinding wheels to polish the surface. My job was to do calculations, get the proper hardware, and develop the software and control panel, while he did the majority of the build work.
