Brussels Based on my 15 years of experience in tech, artificial intelligence, research, teaching and innovation, business creation, entrepreneurship and people management/coaching, I launched my own management & innovation company, active mainly in digital companies, I contributed to the strategy of several of them, developed their business activity, and set up new offers/business Unit "Data Analytics & AI". The first French National Strategic Plan on AI was presented to the President of the Republic on March 21, 2017 (Budget : 1,5 B EUR). To prepare this strategy, I had the honor to manage, with the support of my colleagues, 17 working groups composed by some 600 high-level experts in AI out of academia, private and public sector. It has been a fantastic professional and human experience. Moreover I had in charge the monitoring of the policy of support for innovation, including monitoring the activities of the competitiveness clusters, the Plan d'Investissement d'Avenir, the National Institute of Intellectual Property, the National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control (INRIA), the French Tech, the Public Investment Bank (BPI-France), ... with the support of the Direction Générale Entreprises (DGE - 1250 civil servants) I also used to be Government Commissioner for the 2017 Finance Law for Innovation I did not sleep much but the experience as already said was simply amazing :-).
