Duties included: 3D CAD modelling of both metallic components; as well as the use of surfacing to create composite parts in Catia V5; use of an MTS load frame to conduct component testing and rating and external actuators to test full or part cars; Use of a Faro Design Arm to laser scan and probe components for reverse engineering; as well as probing points on cars to obtain kinematic data.
