Aug 2017 - Sep 2020
As the Marketing and Graphic Design Specialist, my role was to create content for the three major divisions of the company, electric, water, and cable. I also created content for other departments such as customer service, support services, and more. My responsibilities included creating print material for billboards, newspapers, magazines, signs for events, direct mailers, mailing inserts, informational brochures, as well as internal communication pieces. It was also my responsibility to produce digital content such as video and photos for cable television commercials, digital marketing ads, digital signage, social media, websites, and more. Under the supervision of the Marketing and Information Coordinator, I developed video content that promoted FPB in the Frankfort community. This required the use of camera equipment (dslr, tripod, microphone, filters, etc.) and the use of software to edit the video (Adobe Premiere and/or After Affects). As an employee in the marketing department, it was my responsibility to coordinate FPB’s marketing mediums such as cross-channel, billboards, newspaper, magazines, etc. This required organizing a calendar of FPB marketing material and managing art due dates and post dates. Maintaining the Frankfort Plant Board’s website, fpb.cc, was also included in the list of my responsibilities. The website required regular content updates.

Multimedia Specialist
-
Jun 2008 - Aug 2017
As the Multimedia Specialist, my duties include the use of software for print and web related work. One of my responsibilities includes coordinating the Kennedy’s Wildcat Den annual catalog for print and web. Before being sent to Post Printing, I confirm that all media is in the proper format and best possible resolution. I also assist by photographing product and editing with Adobe Photoshop. In the process of building the catalog, I am in charge of the layout and design using Adobe InDesign. The design process also includes the use of vector art created with Adobe Illustrator. (Since 2012) I am also responsible for creating vector art for our screen-printing department, Kennedy’s Paw Prints. As Paw Prints receives jobs, it is my responsibility to create new vector art or create vector art based on a raster image provided by the client. Screen-printing vector art is created using Adobe Illustrator. (Since 2013) As the Multimedia Specialist, I create signage that various Kennedy’s Wildcat Den departments require, including banners, posters, decals, window perf, and informational graphics. These responsibilities require the process to be completely produced in-house. Developing the signage typically requires the use of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. The graphics are then printed using a Roland Versacamm VP-540 and installed in the appropriate departments. (Since 2013) Other responsibilities include: create HTML/CSS/Graphics for email blasts using Constant Contact, build websites using Drupal or WordPress, build customer relations, supervise employees, order and stock supplies.
