Information Technology Support Intern
-
Dec 2019 - Present
As a consulting intern I have worked remotely with dozens of customers using a standardized ticketing system adding to documentation. I traveled to customer sites as well for tickets that could not be solved remotely. A majority of requests and problems are for client desktops, printers, and phones. Working with client Windows servers to manage users, groups, privileges, and general requests is also part of daily work. Communication is the most important part of the job to ensure clients get their IT problems and requests solved on time. Show less

Temp Project Technician

Jun 2018 - Aug 2018
As a temp in the IT department of SSM Health I was part of several projects that included preparing printers and desktop computers for a new instance of EPIC, testing printers and desktop computers to ensure they function properly with this new software, and building switch stacks to upgrade hardware in several buildings getting remodeled. I needed to utilize trouble shooting skills with new hardware I had never seen before while working with other temps to create reports about what issues or solutions we found each day. Show less

Line Worker
-
May 2018 - Jun 2018
As a line worker in the factory I unpackaged in home routers as well as DVRs that needed repairs and began the testing process. I worked at every stage of testing the products from initial power tests, port tests, and physical quality check. After the devices were deemed functional I cleaned and packaged them in shrink wrap with the proper cables to be redeployed into people’s homes. Simple troubleshooting was required at times if machines on the line had broken testing cables which often just needed to be replaced. Show less
