Our guests experience Ocean Rafting’s signature adrenalin fuelled action while exploring the islands, inlets and beaches on custom built semi-rigid inflatable vessels, travelling at speeds of up to 35 knots (65 km/hour). All boats are up to 12 metre semi-rigid inflatable vessels, originally designed and built as rescue crafts and are driven by 500hp engines, allowing guests to experience a fun, high speed ride amongst the natural beauty of the Whitsundays. The vessels take a maximum of 25 to 32 passengers, with small groups allowing guests to experience tropical paradise away from the crowds, while still having the ability to carry up to 206 guests per day on Whitsunday tours with seven vessels. The size of the boats also make them ideal for private charters for groups. Ocean Rafting is proud to have special permits allowing the vessels to visit protected areas of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and offers a highly unique experience, including access to Hill Inlet, one of the Whitsundays’ most famous icons, which is found on many postcards. A visit to Hill Inlet, Whitehaven Beach and snorkelling pristine coral reefs all in one day, along with the “ride of your life”, allows for a very special adventure!

Ocean Safari offers an exhilarating ride to snorkel the pristine untouched Great Barrier Reef off the Daintree Coast at Cape Tribulation. The half day Great Barrier Reef tour visits two different snorkel destinations, each with an extraordinary array of marine life and coral species. After a fast 25 minute ride, you are ready to snorkel two fabulous locations at Mackay and Undine Reefs. On most days, you can snorkel alongside sea turtles, which are found in abundance swimming over reefs full of colourful coral, along with myriads of tropical fish, eagle rays, giant clams and starfish. Often the coastal rainforest of the Daintree can be seen along the mainland beach whilst snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef, two world heritage areas side by side. The experienced Skipper and Eco Host ensure the trip is filled with fun and appreciation of the Great Barrier Reef and the coastal rainforest of the Daintree. Magical memories like these sometimes only happen once in a lifetime. The Great Barrier Reef tour begins at Cape Tribulation beach where you board the vessel bound for the tropical waters. The Ocean Safari vessel takes a maximum of 25 passengers allowing guests to experience tropical paradise and the pleasure of a small group. The vessel is based on the original design of a rescue craft and is a rigid inflatable boat driven by 700hp engines. The Ocean Safari check in office is also home to the Turtle Rock Café and Safari Lodge. Situated just 400 metres from the beach.

  SkyPoint is located 230m above sea level in the iconic Q1 building in the middle of Surfers Paradise. I am the Duty/Operations Manager for SkyPoint and look after Guest Service, SkyPoint Climb and the Seventy7 cafe and bar. With over 2000 + guest a day and total of 90+ staff it keeps me very busy. I look after the day to day operation of the business. Implementing new procedures, incentivising the team, HR, cost control, rosters, training, merchandise, refurbishments, events and sales and marketing. The business has had a massive growth in the past 2 years being the biggest that SkyPoint has ever seen. I work closely with the internationals and national sales teams at Dreamworld to ensure we are getting maximum exposure through there network as well. With 360 degrees of the Gold Coast SkyPoint is the only beach and hinterland observation deck in the world.
