I am blessed to have been called to this historic, capable congregation of about 300 members. The staff, musicians, mission-minded leaders, civic and professional leaders in this church far exceeds the norm. God has called us together in a time of obvious revitalization and spiritual renewal! The warmth and kindness of the people was always genuine. Though not large in number, the capacity for mission, discipleship and close-knit fellowship was higher than the average church in rural Beaver County, PA. My kids grew especially fond of this area/school system and the church's investment in them. The warmth and kindness of the people was always genuine. I was called to my hometown (but not my childhood church). The local mission connections and personal growth I experienced were tremendous. The good outweighed the bad yet working here was challenging in many ways. I am grateful for the experience, lessons learned. I was called to my hometown (but not my childhood church). Solo Pastor in a rural town in a small but significant county seat. A great place to begin ministry and learn from the patient folks of F.P.C. "Every member a minister."
