Aid in the treatment of an average of 20-30 million gallons of wastewater per day before being discharged into the East Fork Trinity River. This affects wildlife and millions of people downstream so clean effluent from proper treatment and due diligence was top priority. This plant is operational 24/7 resulting in working extended hours and weekend shifts. • Vigilantly monitor all equipment and SCADA software to prevent malfunction and damage to the effluent water and receiving stream • Adjust vital pumps, valves, processing equipment, and chemicals to move water through treatment processes • Conduct routine sampling of treatment water and effluent water following standard operating procedures • Calibrate pH, dissolved oxygen, and ammonia meters to ensure proper working order for daily analysis • Draft Digital Monthly Reports (DMR) and maintain logs on meter readings, tests, chemicals, and equipment usage as required by TCEQ Show less
