I had the pleasure of working with Nate on several critical projects, including the one nominated by the Federal Executive Board for team of the year in 2011. (Installing multiple strands of single mode high-speed fiber optic cable between a dozen buildings dispersed over the VA North Chicago and Navy Great Lakes facilities, to form the James A Lovell Federal Health Care Center.) Nate was the Contracting Officer and was instrumental in the project to replace and modernize the antiquated low voltage voice/data cables at the Harold Washington Social Security Center. Despite very stringent requirements, the contract was awarded, and the task completed both on schedule and within budget.
