Bio
Roger Dean Huffstetler
Nathan is arguably the best community builder I have had the privilege to work with. In my 2018 U.S. Congressional campaign in Virginia’s 5th district as a Field Organizer in four rural counties, Nathan quickly built trust and inspired enthusiasm among the local Democratic communities where we had few contacts and little name recognition. Despite long hours, fierce competition, and a remote assignment, Nathan surpassed our ambitious goals to turn out supporters. He is a superb listener and articulate communicator, adaptive and creative in working with diverse constituencies, and a closer. Even to this day, the folks whom Nathan recruited to my team continue to ask me when he’ll be re-hired and rave about his ability to connect with anyone.
