With my extensive background in the various roles I've held within the company, I have maintained a vast network of specialists that I can utilize to achieve our combined maintenance goals. I have also maintained a detailed library containing documentation for all equipment in the company, which has made me a useful resource in general. When I don't know something, I usually have a manual/SOP at my disposal, and if not, I know who to get ahold of that either has the answers or knows where to start looking for them.

I identify any maintenance issues that need to be addressed and communicate them in a manner dependent on how severe the issue is. Our maintenance department is trying to reduce unnecessary spending due to premature failures regularly found in frac so ultimately my goal is to save money by identifying trends and intervening with the field, all while keeping the job going smoothly. Increasing awareness of equipment issues on location increases the overall amount of maintenance performed. This is a proactive approach that seems like more work at first but aims to reduce maintenance in the long run (which can decrease NPT due to horsepower or blender issues and save money by avoiding pre-mature expenses). Our maintenance shops are then able to rotate out equipment requiring extensive work more regularly. Additionally, I work with our team to develop our own software to try and automate the process. This helps make the field operate safer and more efficient.
