I hslp monitor a large network spanning the Pacific Northwest and troubleshoot any issues that arise. This does also require calling out to technicians to dispatch them to offices in the region. I hslp monitor a large network spanning the Pacific Northwest and troubleshoot any issues that arise. I resolve issues with office workstations, either troubleshooting and repairing devices in use or wiping/updating spare devices. This also requires some maintenance of an Active Directory/Microsoft 365 domain to add and remove users/computers. I worked as a Dell employee at a Microsoft data center, resolving hardware issues by repairing, replacing, or upgrading server hardware components. I worked as part of a team of technicians, but most work was alone and unsupervised while out in the field. As a technician, I was tasked with driving a company vehicle to and from both job sites and our offices. When on-site, I pulled and ran cable for devices (cameras, doors, WANs, etc.). If a new device or structure was to be installed, such as a switch or server rack, I was also tasked with their installation and assembly as required. Once things had been installed and the cables were ran, the cables are usually terminated to whatever device is relevant (Leviton or Commscope inserts, fire alarm screw-down terminations, etc). This could take place over multiple days, depending on the job. Show less

In this position, I used Adobe Photoshop to edit photos, created and edited video slideshows for use during services, operated projection and audio equipment during services, and provided IT support for desktop systems at the home. I would also help in tasks as a funeral attendant, doing things like cleaning the chapel, setting up grave-side services, and driving a company vehicle to pick up/deliver packages from other funeral homes.
