I am ultimately responsible for the monthly accounts production and review for Bristol Audi. Which has circa £80 million in revenue and over 2,500 vehicles sold on an annual basis. I am also jointly responsible for the monthly accounts production for Bath Audi. Which has circa £31 million in revenue and annual sales of over 1,000 vehicles.My role consists of Balance Sheet reconciliations, nominal journals and reviews for both sites on a monthly basis to ensure complete accuracy and transparency.I am also the direct line manager and responsible for four vehicle sales administrators whose jobs entail invoicing, taxing and registering all the new and used vehicles for Bristol Audi. As the Assistant Accountant I have heavy involvement in the accounts production each month. I complete the vehicle reconciliation, funding reconciliation and payroll for our three sites. I also complete various month end reconciliations to the nominal ledger. On a day to day basis I support the accounts team which is essential to my role. A key part of my job is not only to complete work efficiently and within strict deadlines but also to be helpful and supportive. I also offer support to the managers of the three sites on a daily basis. Teamwork is a fundamental element of the accounts function. I am the first point of contact for various members of staff with queries and problem solving before involving the accountant if needed. I run weekly reports on expenses analysis. I also complete the annual tax pack analysis along with cost analysis. I have daily use of the different systems within Sytner and as such have a good working knowledge of Kerridge/ADP and a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Show less
