  Responsible for coordinating research activities, data collection, analysis, and communication of results to support the organization's mission to improve honey bee health through data-driven research in collaboration with beekeepers. Works closely with the other coordinators (Tech Transfer Team, Sentinel Program, and Communication) as well as all BIP personnel, to oversee and manage research projects, as well as the research components of monitoring and outreach projects, for the organization. Responsibilities: ● Coordinate research projects and work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful completion of research objectives. ● Collaborate on surveillance and outreach projects with cross-functional teams to ensure high scientific standards behind all programs. ● Identify research priorities and opportunities to advance the organization's mission and goals. ● Develop and maintain study designs, research protocols, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality of research activities. ● Conduct literature reviews, collect data, and analyze data using statistical tools and software. ● Create reports, outreach and peer-reviewed publications, and presentations on research findings for internal and external stakeholders. ● Present and promote research findings to various stakeholders at scientific meetings and extension and outreach events. ● Work with the grant writing team to apply to funding opportunities to support and advance the organization’s mission and goals. ● Manage relationships with external partners, such as research institutions and external scientists, to ensure effective collaboration and coordination of research activities. ● Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in research activities.
