  Three days a week I made the trip out to Holland to work for Grooters. I went out on shoots as a production assistant/camera assistant. Camp Roger

  I was the all-purpose media person at Camp Roger in Rockford, Michigan. I took photos of the daily events as well as video, so I took two cameras with wherever I went. I then uploaded about 35 pictures, after lightly Photoshopping some of them, to Camp Roger's website each day. For the video I took the footage that I shot the previous week and edited it down to a 4-minute glimpse of that session. I then compressed that and uploaded it to camp's Vimeo account, after which I could embed it in a page on camp's website. I also kept the website up-to-date and typo-free, and occasionally did some graphic design when needed. My final task was to create a DVD with all the videos from the summer as well as the pictures from each week. This will be sent out to every camper in the winter as promotional material for camp. I also was a PA for two shoots of "When Weather Changed History" on the Weather Channel. Later I scanned and touched up photos for "Gangland" on the History Channel and a show on the Biography Channel. I also got the opportunity to make several motion graphics pieces for "Sports Action Team" episodes. I did a variety of things as an intern at Towers.
