Predictive analytics for fleet health and maintenance planning at Boeing Global Services Analytics. As part of the Operational Intelligence team, I develop analytic solutions with sensor data, maintenance histories, and production history to support excellent service to Boeing's customers after airplane delivery. My role includes full stack web development (primarily with Angular2 and Node), distributed computing solutions (I manage a 120 TFLOPS compute cluster), machine learning (especially with TensorFlow), and plenty of analytics with methods and tools like Bayesian state estimation (applying ROS to analytics has been a dream), graph databases (ArangoDB is awesome!), and general math like FFTs. I've been doing changepoint detection, outlier classification, handwriting recognition, just to name a few! Analytics is fun! Show less

As part of the PE Core team, I helped develop a specialized computer vision system for automated fiber placement robots for 777x production. I also supported risk assessment and qualification and acceptance processes for these robots. I created introductory robotics training curriculum for tooling engineers to incorporate robotics principles into their designs. My team collaborated with Insitu to support RoboFlight Academy, a week-long camp for high school students to develop rugged autonomous aerial robots capable of crossing the Columbia River to deliver a payload in a simulated search and rescue mission. I developed web applications for my team to assist with documentation and information availability.I worked with many developers through the production system stack to update a requirement associated with a high ratio of installation plan errors in 2015, streamlining our manufacturing plan quality and auditing process while ensuring compliance to regulation and standards.
