I work as a senior manager within the accounting division of the firm looking after four direct reports from senior level to graduate . My team in particular are well known in the IT and medical industry with a known reputation for R&D taxation advice. As well as this we look after a large variety of clients from large listed entities to small start ups and individuals. We have clients across a broad range of industries from medical centers and Pharmacies, building development, construction and form work to fresh fish markets to name a few. This allows us to have a broad range of knowledge across the board of accounting and taxation issues faced across various industries and places us in a position to provide excellent advice and client support and service. As well as client services I am heavily involved with operation improvement programs within the firm developing and championing projects such as budgeting processes which has seen significant improvement in performance across the board and other internal value adding projects inlcuding acting as the firms software (APS) liaison and champion. I am also head of training for the firm liaising with key external partners to arrange the training calendar for the year as well as the selection of special topics and regular updates to ensure as a firm we stay ahead in this constantly evolving industry.
