Working as a B2B content creator in tech (SaaS), specifically Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM), I write blog articles and use SEO tools to optimise articles, create brochures and datasheets, create engaging posts for our social media channels and assist with email marketing by managing both the internal and external newsletters. Research plays a big role in my work and it's probably my favourite part! Content Creator
-
May 2020 - Dec 2021
As a content creator for B2B Tech audience (SaaS) that helps companies with their data protection compliance, I write articles, optimise product pages and old articles, create webinars and manage our social media (LinkedIn is our main channel). I get to flex my design muscles as well by creating designs that stay on-brand for us at Pridatect and are visually engaging. I spend a lot of time on SEO and keyword research and also assist with email marketing, creating our newsletter. I really enjoy working in B2B Tech industry with SaaS and I love working in tech and the challenge of writing for this audience, translating a complicated topic into an easy to understand and relatable way.

I created and ran my own business using my self-taught illustration and digital marketing skills. I built up a strong social media following and community and constructed a social media calendar to follow strictly to keep up with algorithm needs for optimum exposure and growth. Whilst taxing, I enjoyed the challenge. I illustrated characters, designed and created products and marketed them on various channels; creating relationships with manufacturers and clients. While I loved the process of creating art and products and selling them, I found myself more attracted to the digital marketing side of my work and wanted my art work to stay a hobby. I have an Etsy shop open now so it is a hugely scaled down operation and I just create in my spare time when I feel like it and people are free to make purchases and I ship everything on weekends.

Clinical Administrator

Sep 2014 - Aug 2017
I ran clinical admin for Virgin’s dermatology and ENT clinics, liaising with the doctors and specialists to ensure efficient appointments and clinics. Duties including record keeping, book keeping, precise stock recording, strong communication and problem solving. Although I enjoyed this work, I felt my passions lied with art and illustration and I decided to pursue my desire to start my own business using these skills.
