My roles and responsibilities include advanced and operational management in the academics and sports sectors, finance management, and people leadership. Within my role, I lead staff members in the sectors of academics, sports, administration, finance and facilities. I ensure the well-being of learners and build positive relationships with our stakeholders and community members. I manage the admissions of new learners, coordinate testing and conduct enrollment interviews. I lead and participate in disciplinary hearings, staff appraisals and enforce policy compliance. Furthermore, I coordinate staff training, development and monitoring performance. I ensure the effective use and allocation of resources within the school to ensure the school meets the use of technology and teaching methodologies. I review and adjust budgets and approve expenditure to ensure internal budgets for audit clearance. I perform financial management functions for managing academic, school tuck- shop and lunch program budgets.I critically assess the academics and safety needs of the learners and staff to insure inclusion of aspects that add value to the academics program. I coordinate the Social media and advertising committee, Charity drive committee, School fundraiser and Events committee. I lead the Honors evening, Prefect and Health and Safety committee. I have been appointed School Governing Body member and work closely with other School Governing Body members in providing vision, direction and leadership for the success of the school and ensure that the school is effectively managed to reach its termly set goals.

Within my role, I assist the Executive Principal with operational responsibilities, quality assurance of the learning environment, staff development and staff appraisals. I assist in developing a school environment, which is supportive of learning and the high achievement amongst learners. I also assist in the daily management of the school environment, exercising a leadership and motivational role. I compile and implement policies related to discipline, COVID-19, school health and safety, learners and staff code of conduct. I lead the recruitment process for educators, facilities and finance staff. I skillfully managed the ratio of duties and responsibilities for all teaching and ground staff. In addition, I am the Subject Head for Mathematics, responsible for Mathematics curriculum development and teaching. I am appointed coordinator of various committees and responsible for the delegation of duties within the committees. I am also the liaison of all parent and staff communication platforms and advertising campaigns.
