Digital Content Producer
-
Apr 2016 - Sep 2018
I manage and create all digital content, including creating graphics for social media and competitions with Photoshop, filming and editing videos using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, and building new webpages on our radio CMS, Aiir. I work closely with both sales to produce products for our clients, and the programming team to create promotional material for on air content. I’ve worked to optimise content and meta data for SEO, and incorporated Google Adsense to generate revenue from our main website. I keep track of our Google Analytics and social media stats to monitor our online performance and interaction. I also work with local events and PR companies to find prizes for competitions such as tickets giveaways for Clean Bandit and The Jacksons, to working with local festivals like Strawberries and Creem. I also design and build websites for our clients using Wordpress. I mainly use HTML and CSS, with some knowledge of JavaScript. They are fully responsive with SEO, and I have set up Google Adwords scripts to run alongside digital marketing campaigns for certain websites, too. With the programming team I have learnt to integrate the station using G Selector and how to use Zetta to time the hours and segue songs. Show less

Music PR
-
Sep 2013 - Apr 2016
I was a PR Executive at Quite Great, a PR company for musicians and consumer clients. During this time, I worked on online, radio, TV and print media. I scheduled and organised interviews, features, radio plays, video premieres and TV plays, always working to tight deadlines. I’ve worked with emerging and established artists such as Candi Staton and The Kinks and Ray Davies, and independent labels to major labels like Warner Music. Naturally, I attended regular client meetings in person and over the phone. I have worked with an array of genres including urban, pop and rock, achieving coverage in the Guardian, London Evening Standard, Yahoo!, Billboard, MTV, Clash, and had acts played on BBC 1Xtra, BBC 6 Music, Kerrang Radio. I was also responsible for managing the companies' websites which were hosted on Wordpress and Squarespace, updating and editing content and working with an external SEO company to improve our ranking on Google. I updated social media with the latest client coverage and would advise clients with their websites and social media strategy. I've also made use of email marketing, creating regular newsletters using Mailchimp too. Show less

Sales Assistant
-
Aug 2011 - Nov 2011
I was a part time sales assistant selling clothing, accessories and band merchandise. The store had live music performances and social events which I helped to promote and organise. My friendly personality made it easy for me to work with fellow colleagues and make customers feel extremely welcome within the shop. Unfortunately, the shop had to close after just 3 months as it went into administration. I was a part time sales assistant selling clothing, accessories and band merchandise.
