Membership administration was a great stepping stone towards the Project Support Officer role. Assisting the Projects Administrator manage all the Technology group projects, both competitive and core, working with over 80 researchers executing research and development for the Australian Sugar Industry.My priorities include monitoring project milestones - liaising with my team on deadlines, assisting with editing and formatting and communicating updates with investors and collaborators, presenting quality deliverables, on time. This also includes managing and reporting on monthly budgets and providing project status reports to the executive manager, as well as updating board papers where required.Other tasks include administrative support to project leads and Key Focus Area Leaders with regards to;- Plant Breeders Rights, assisting with the applications, -payment and recording of data, - Assist with commercial tissue culture program,- Completing accurate data entry,- Create purchase orders and monitor timely payment of project related payables,- Liaise with project leads and the finance team on distribution of project invoices to various collaborators per contractual agreements, - Creating and updating processes where needed,- Manage Executive and Team Leader monthly expenses.There is also a fun element of the role in collaborating with Key Focus Area Leaders each month and designing a team newsletter that is distributed monthly. Each newsletter highlights individual and team achievements, set team goals, topics for discussion and industry news.

Manage the workshop meetings, agendas and minutes and Toolbox sessions. Manage customer queries via phone and email and generating a regular report on customer satisfaction. General administration duties also include reception and phone cover, maintaining tidy common areas and some accounts payable. Where required, deliver vehicles to clients or depots and pick up parts from local suppliers.
