Natasha Mince Parks is a native New Orleanian who is very excited about bringing yoga to the youth of New Orleans. Natasha has studied yoga with co-owner Michele Baker at Swan River Yoga in Mid-City New Orleans. She attended a six month teacher training course in 2012 and 2014 with 700 hours of yoga philosophy. She is a certified Hatha yoga teacher with an immense and deep knowledge of the roots of yoga. Natasha has been practicing yoga full time since 2009, and will be forever grateful to all of her teachers who helped her along the way. She has deepened her yoga practice under teachers Sean Gray, Mary Glackmeyer, Michele Baker, Keith Porteous, Jordon Bloom, Kelly Haas, and received a 16 hour Ancient Thai massage certification with Sudevi Kramer. Natasha completed a Children’s yoga certification program with Haris Lender the creator of Kidding Around Yoga in 2015. Natasha manages the yoga studio at Crossfit Fullbore in Metairie Louisiana. She enjoys teaching many different style classes including restorative for athletes, prenatal, mommy n baby, family yoga, and children’s yoga to all ages. She also provides hourly private yoga and Thai yoga sessions. Natasha plans on serving others in her clients homes outside of the studio by helping her clients organize and de-clutter as a way to create more simplicity, space, freedom, and peace. Natasha was called to learn about spirituality and serving others at a young age where she was fully involved in a local church youth group doing mission work. With a big passion for the arts, music, and dance, it is no surprise Natasha fell in love with the yoga path of devotion, bhakti yoga. Natasha has big visions to one day provide sanctuary practice spaces for parents and children under one roof with an array of classes. She hopes to see more family focused yoga studios and health centers throughout the world. Show less
