Over the last three months since Natasha joined the Department of Fish and Game as a Natural Resource Volunteer she has completed an eighty hour conservation course designed to help educate others in the field and in a classroom setting. In her field training experience Natasha has responded to service calls regarding public - wildlife interaction conducting site visits at homes of residents who have lost pets to coyotes. She has patrolled ecological reserves, fishing and wildlife areas with other volunteers in diseminating valuable information to the public to help their learning experience and stay within state rules and regulations. Natasha is a highly educated and very personable young lady that is well liked by supervision and her co-workers. She is gaining valuable experience in her volunteerism as a conservation ambassador for the DFG modeling servant leadership "the unconditional giving of time and talent towards a specific mission and vision". Natasha writes detailed yet concise reports outlining patrol activities. She is punctual, reliable, accountable to her mentors and an asset to the Department's Natural Resource Volunteer Program (NRVP).
