In this role, I co-facilitated 3, 10-week treatment programs and drop-in programs with a Registered Social Worker (MSW) and Psychotherapist centered on support for folks with moderate to severe eating disorders. I utilized DBT, CBT, ACT, Narrative and Brief Solutions Focused Therapy modalities with a foundation of strengths-based skills during treatment programs. Additionally, I conducted detailed clinical intakes with clients and assessed acute needs using the EDEQ questionnaire (Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire) to inform treatment recommendations using a collaborative client-centered approach. Clear, concise clinical documentation was completed on a timely manner. Lastly, I contributed to the organization's DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) initiatives by researching on the specific gaps and needs of the South Asian Community which was presented to the clinical core team consisting of the CEO and Chief Medical Officer. I researched and presented on relevant mental health topics focused on eating disorders and the intersectionalities of Adult ADHD and South Asian Community experiences.
