It isn't often that one finds a truly amazing human in the workplace. With the fast pace and high levels of stress common in most offices, it can be very difficult to get to know colleagues on anything more than a superficial level. Having worked with Natasha for over four years I can honestly say this was not the case. As the IT liaison I spent considerable time supporting the sales team in their day to day duties. During this period I got to know Natasha extremely well and from the outset it was very apparent to me how dedicated she was in performing in her role to the best of her ability. Often that meant staying back late in the office to complete tasks for her clients or going out of her way to ensure deadlines were met. Often around 6PM in an empty office I would peer over my desk and see her tapping diligently away at the keyboard. While an extremely dedicated worker, Natasha also has an extraordinary ability to build a great rapport with colleagues and clients with ease due to her honesty and integrity. This immediately puts people at ease. During the many, many occasions I supported Natasha in her role she was always an absolute pleasure to deal with. Her sense of humour and willingness to go the extra mile to get a task completed is extremely admirable, even under conditions of high stress. Her aptitude for finding ways to get things done where most would give up is a skill I witnessed over many years of working together and something I am grateful has, via some form of osmosis, transferred to me. Rather than raise her hands to the sky and give in to the seemingly endless roadblocks the modern office places in front of us, Natasha simply finds a way to get things going, whether its finding out who the right person is to talk to, doing the research herself or asking colleagues for advice. Natasha does not give up. Ever. Natasha has the ability to find common ground with pretty much any human on the planet and this has shown time and again to be extremely effective both personally and professionally. The multitude of awards and her consistent ability to hit her targets during the time I worked with her clearly showed this. Over the years of working alongside Natasha I found her values and attitude to doing a job well infectious and while we may have worked in different departments, she definitely had a large impact on how I approach my work even today. If I were to ever run a company, she would be my first hire. Natasha can be relied upon to get things done, make working together fun and more importantly, give honest feedback when it is needed.
