Natasha and I worked with one another at Pelichem and Senmin for almost 20 years. She developed a number of novel polymers from guar and carboxymethylcellulose products for the minerals separations industry as well as running a formulations and technical development laboratory. She has vast experience in the areas of water treatment and mining and mineral processes vis-a-vis the use of novel chemical reagents to create the upgrading of minerals. She also developed a biotechnology laboratory at Senmin that cultured a bacteria used in the industrial manufacture of polyacrylamide flocculants. Natasha is a very successful and hard working researcher and shows initiative and innovation in her work. She is a self-starter and manages people and activities with aplomb. Her work spread over two decades has continuously resulted in the generation of new sales from new products produced on plants purposely built or re-designed to fit products that are demanded by the changing needs in the mining environment.

To Whom It May Concern I have known Natasha for many years both in a social as well as a professional capacity and have to come to an unequivocal opinion that in both facets of life that she is a woman of the highest integrity and work ethic. She is a dedicated and loving mother of two fine young boys. Both her husband and Natasha are avid sports people participating in marathons and Natasha is also an accomplished show jumper. When at work she does not shy away from rolling up her sleeves and immersing herself in every task no matter how menial thereby leaving all those who work with her in doubt as to her strong leadership qualities and ability to lead from the front. Her tenacity and attention to detail has resulted in the implementation of technology, developed from grass roots in the laboratory, that resulted not only in an increase of a current commercial production facility by 30% but a concomitant reduction of the input material variable cost and was the subject of her being awarded a MSc degree from the University of Witwatersrand together with being recognized by AECI Executive Board for an innovation award. All those who have worked with and for Natasha have come to realize that here is a special person, someone from whom you could not only continuously learn but most of all the ability to impart knowledge and interact with all with humility. Looking forward to any prospective employer I highly recommend Natasha as she will be an asset that will afford an immediate positive impact to the business as she is a dedicated team player. If you wish to discuss any further aspects highlighted please feel free to contact me Dr Patrick Dicks, Technical Director, Senmin, a Division of AECI Mining Solutions Limited : patrick.dicks@aeciworld.com
