I am currently one of twenty women chosen globally by the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP) and the International Affairs Institute (IAI) in Rome, in the framework of the EU Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Consortium (EUNPDC) for the Young Women and Next Generation Initiative (YWNGI). This programme aims to encourage young women and the next generation to enter the non-proliferation, arms control and disarmament field. Through this programme, I have been assigned Yasmin Afina, research associate at Chatham House, as my mentor for the next eight months.
