As the Sales and Marketing Manager for The Hard Rock Cafe Lake Tahoe, I created, coordinated, and executed events which exemplified Hard Rock's mission and vision for the brand. These events included musical performances, fundraisers, autograph signings, and global key initiatives. Subsequent goals were exceeded for brand impressions, media exposure, and Cafe sales. Crucial to the success of the marketing schedule was the securing of partners and sponsors including community members, non-profits, liquor distributors, and Lake Tahoe businesses. The highlights of my time at the Cafe included a Sheryl Crow guitar auction, meet and greet with Lady Antebellum, live performance by the Alice Cooper Band, raising in excess of $10,000 for the World Hunger Organization, and developing the New Year's Eve events which broke Cafe all time sales records. In addition, I managed event staff and coordinated with cross functional department managers to provide a seamless event experience. I was also responsible for group sales and leveraged relationships with lodging and entertainment partners to drive group bookings to the Cafe. This included wedding/bachelor/bachelorette groups, corporate parties, and family and social gatherings. I also coordinated group events for Tahoe regional events in partnership with Hot August Nights, America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride, and WinterFest Ski Week. A few highlights on successful fundraising events: The World Hunger Organization (WHY), raising over $10,000 for global organizations fighting hunger during a two month bracelet sale and "crank it up" fundraising campaignThe Carson Tahoe Cancer Center, raising over $3,000 during a live music event and in conjunction with a Sheryl Crow autographed guitar auction Christmas Cheer/ Bread & Broth, raising over $2,500 during a food drive and meet and greet with Lady Antebellum
