Bio
Henry (Hao) Yuan, P.E.
I've had the privilege of working with Natalie in a few projects as a member of the structural design team that she managed. Natalie possess many qualities as both a successful project manager and engineer, which ensured the team to progress and achieve results collectively. It also offered many opportunities for a young engineer to learn from. The first thing I noticed about Natalie is her strong mentality and skill set to make the best use of the resources and make sure the team is moving toward the right direction and achieving goals. Facing many engineering and management decisions, Natalie is able to identify the critical issue and lead the team to take immediate action. By effective scheduling and communicating throughout the team, she made sure the team is reaching its full potential and ultimately delivering our best work on time. Natalie is also detailed-oriented in the way that none of the important aspect of the project gets overlooked. She understands the complexity and delicate nature of engineering, goes beyond the obvious, and guide the team to cover the client's concerns as much as possible. She is also very good at giving people credits, encouraging others to constantly improve, and defend the team when it needs to. As a structural engineer Natalie is also very competent in the technical aspects. For engineering consultants as we are, it is important that everyone in the team is technically capable in their fields. Natalie's extensive experience in various types of infrastructure and offshore systems ensured that she is able to give directions and technical guidance where young engineers can really benefit from.
