My role in the Arts Management and Technology Lab (AMT Lab) was to produce content for the platform through articles, product reviews, news updates, and podcast episodes for the Tech in the Arts podcast. I thoughtfully published content based on analyzing what would drive higher SEO. This past academic year, two of my articles were in the top 5 most viewed pieces. As Lead Researcher, I designed and executed a national research project on digital inequity and its impacts on arts participation. Through this summer position, I assisted in research and data collection, analysis, and management tasks for two research projects the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council (GPAC) was involved in. I accompanied the Director of Research and Special Projects in data collection for Americans for the Arts' sixth Arts & Economic Prosperity (AEP6) study, which serves to quantify the economic contribution of the arts & culture field in the US. I also analyzed data from a local arts community survey and wrote about my findings, which culminated in GPAC's publication titled "Impact to Insight: Findings from the Arts Community Survey."
