I founded Brooklyn Sustainability with the intention to raise awareness of sustainability in large cities. My work includes helping small businesses establish inventory databases, creating websites, and creating unique products including stickers, bookmarks, art prints, and digital photography to list, sell and ship to customers. As well as conceptualizing targeted social media advertising campaigns to increase online product sales. Urban Park Ranger

New York City Department of Parks is the largest public park system in NYC with 81% of the NYC population within walking distance of an NYC park. As an Urban Park Ranger I conceptualized and led tours and programs to connect NYC residents with science in engaging ways, summarized record of all conditions, programs, outreach, and communications in a SharePoint archive, and informed citizens about safe practices and social distancing during the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic as well as set up and organized mask distribution sites. In 2018 Natural Areas Conservancy used Rapid Site Assessment to quickly gauge forest health and monitor ecological conditions in NYC and NPS Parks. During my time as a Fieldwork Supervisor I collected and catalogued ecological data for a citywide ecological analysis, trained two interns in plant identification and standard forestry analysis protocol and oversaw data collection to ensure accurate scientific methods were followed.
