I worked for a year as a Lead Contact Tracer with the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at UIC's School of Public Health. We worked diligently to track cases and contacts of COVID-19 in the UIC community and to provide CDC recommendations for quarantine and testing to prevent forward transmission of the virus. As a lead contact tracer, I also helped to train other team members, supervise the call center, and communicate with faculty and administration at the university regarding COVID-19 protocols.
