I line managed Natalie for over 7 years when she was a Senior HR Officer in the HR team at City College Birmingham. It was a pleasure to line manage Natalie as she is a hard working, enthusiastic, motivated and competent HR practitioner. Natalie has managed a large number of complex HR cases and is particularly strong in case management. Natalie demonstrates good problem solving skills, a sound knowledge of HR law, good practice and creative thinking. She provides good advice and guidance to managers and staff. Natalie is able to engage with stakeholders and her knowledge and approach means that he was well respected. Natalie covered my role as HR manager during two periods of maternity leave. I was always able to commence my maternity safe in the knowledge that Natalie would manage the HR function efficiently and effectively. Natalie would line manager the HR team and as with all aspects of her role engage the team and ensure the HR function was aligned to the business needs. Natalie is a good communicator, business focused, reliable, flexible approachable with outstanding analytical skills.
